Right on the lake and nice and buzzy. We had Mango Shakes which we’d cooling and tasty. Served quickly by busy staff.

I had such a lovely experience at this café! The ambience is cozy with a modern touch, perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The coffee was rich and aromatic, and the desserts were fresh and delicious. Service was warm and attentive without being intrusive. Prices are reasonable for the quality offered. Definitely a spot I’d love to return to — highly recommended!

I just had some cold drinks here but enjoyed the people watching so much I thought I'd post a review. Lake front at a spot where people seem to come to have their wedding and famiky photos done. Great theater.

Their Jasmin tea is nice. you will find this tea stall just outside the Cafe and it is very nice. The behavior of the owner is very polite and she explained about the tea very well. good place for quick munching and tea.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Amazing Café with Stunning Lake View! Café 1156 AD is a hidden gem near Gadisar Lake, offering a beautiful view of the lake and a lovely ambiance. The service was excellent, and the staff were very polite and attentive. We ordered Masala Tea and Paneer Tikka Subway, and I was honestly surprised by the presentation, quality of ingredients, and attention to detail. The taste was outstanding — every bite felt fresh and flavorful. It was absolutely worth paying ₹300 for the subway and ₹90 for the tea. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax with great food, scenic views, and warm hospitality in Jaisalmer!
